ISPs Intervene in S.D. Cal. Malibu Media Cases
Partially at the request of The Pietz Law Firm, two of the nations leading ISPs have recently intervened in the coordinated 18+ Malibu Media cases currently pending before Judge Burns in the Southern District of California. Verizon and AT&T, through their counsel Ben Fox and Erick Acker of Morrison & Foerster LLP, and Bart Huffman of Locke Lord LLP, filed an Amicus Brief on November 5, 2012 making arguments helpful to the John Does. This is great news for people being targeted by Malibu Media and Patrick Collins subpoenas.
